Andy Murray crowned ATP Finals champion

Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic 6-3 6-4 in a complete demolishing of Novak Djokovic to cement his place as the World Number One.

After coming through in over 3 and a half hours against Milos Raonic the previous day, Murray looked the physically and mentally fitter of the two as Djokovic never threatened to take the initiative against arguably the best player in the world at the minute.

number two Novak Djokovic
In a competition Murray had never reached the Final of, he came in as hot favorite as the newly crowned world number one with most pundits predicting only five-time winner Novak would have the talent to beat him.

But the British number one blew him away in straight sets to go into the close season as the deserved winner, throwing everything at his closest competitor in terms of ranking and talent level.

With a winning run of 24 matches, this is surely the biggest and may signal a changing of the guard at the very top of the game with Murray surely vying for more Grand Slam titles to place himself securely in the history of the world game.
