Another England collapse against spin has left them in a precarious position for day three of the second test.

Alistair Cook loses his off-stump to Mohammad Shami |
After three of the top five fell for a single figure score and only Joe Root (53) to score any runs of significance, the tourists now face the possibility of following on or chasing a massive fourth innings total.
Earlier Moeen Ali had lead the way to bowl India out for 455, taking three wickets including that of Virat Kohli for 167 and Ravi Jadeja for a second ball duck.
The best chance of England winning or getting a draw out of this test match was to get to India's first innings total, but without any recognized batsmen left in the Pavilion, all chance of that seems to have gone.
The early loss of Rajkot second innings centurion Alistair Cook to an outstanding delivery from Mohammad Shami, then losing 4-29 meant that Ben Stokes and Johnny Bairstow weren't allowed to play their natural games and defend their wickets' heavily.
A calamitous mix-up between Haseeb Hameed and Root meant that the former was run-out, so far out that the third umpire didn't even need to be called to confirm the decision. This seemed to spark the collapse that the tourists may not recover from.
England will start day three well on the defensive, figuring out a way to claw back some sort of momentum in a game that only seems to have one result in mind.
