Davis Cup Preview: France vs GB

Great Britain take on France this weekend as they look to repeat their 2015 victory on the way to the title.

GB will be without world number one Andy Murray again as he recovers from injury, meaning that Kyle Edmund and Dan Evans will compete in the singles ties, starting Friday.
Jamie Murray and Dom Inglot are due to play in the doubles, but with the withdrawal of Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, Gael Monfils and Richard Gasquet, GB have a better pre-match chance than many predicted.

However, unlike two years ago where Andy dominated to take his side through 3-1 at Queens, the young team must beat a French side who have played the majority of their careers on clay.

Edmund will open the tie against Lucas Pouille on Friday, before Evans takes on Jeremy Chardy in the second singles fixture.
