Andy Murray beat Feliciano Lopez in the Barcelona last 16 to move into the quarter finals.
The world number one beat the Spaniard 6-4, 6-4 to set up a tie against either Albert Ramos-Vinolas or Roberto Bautista Agut.

Murray only came into the tournament after he accepted a late wildcard after his third-round defeat by Lopez's fellow Spaniard Ramos-Vinolas in Monte Carlo on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Rafael Nadal joined Murray in the quarter finals with a routine 6-3, 6-4 victory over South Africa's Kevin Anderson.
Nadal has won the tournament nine times before and was always on top against Anderson, forcing ten break points in the straight sets victory.
