Edmund stuns Dimitrov to make semi's

British number two Kyle Edmund beat Grigor Dimitrov in four sets to reach his first Grand slam semi final.

Edmund has had an amazing start to the 2018 season.
In what was also his first Quarter final, he came through in a 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4 victory that will go down as one of the biggest for British male tennis.

He has become just the sixth British man to achieve the feat in the open era, earning a place against Marin Cilic for a place in the final, after Rafael Nadal retired injured in the fifth set.

Andy Murray, Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski, John Lloyd and Roger Taylor are the only British men to reach the last four of a Grand Slam since 1968 and now Edmund joins that list of greats.

Now into the last four, Edmund must be hoping to emulate his Davis Cup teammate Murray and be aiming to win a title that will be his first in all ATP events or Grand slams.

This win over the current World number three shows the depth in quality that British Tennis now has and that maybe, just maybe, there's life after Andy Murray.
