England beat Australia in second ODI

England chased down 271 to beat Australia in the second ODI and move 2-0 up in the five match series.

Aaron Finch scored 106, his second century in a row to lift his country to a semi-competitive total, but it was nowhere near enough to trouble the tourists.

Johnny Bairstow (60) and Alex Hales (57) eased England to 119-1 in the chase, but the Aussies hit back - taking the wickets of Bairstow, Hales and captain Eoin Morgan.

Joe Root and Jos Buttler rebuilt, but Buttler and Moeen Ali lost their wickets to Mitchell Starc, the standout host bowler, before Chris Woakes and Root guided England home with 34 balls to spare.

England's bowling was the star of the show in this game with Ali, Adil Rashid and Joe Root starring with their spin to tie the hosts down for large sections of the game and pick up massively key wickets, including David Warner and Steve Smith.
