England make stunning comeback to beat World Champions

England came back from 2-0 down to beat World cup holders Germany in Berlin last night.

After going 2-0 down to goals from Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez, Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy proved their goal scoring form isn't just for the premier league, bringing the visitors back level. But in added time, Eric Dier rose highest to win his header and score to bring England a famous win in Berlin.

Jamie Vardy celebrates his equalizer and first goal for England
Jamie Vardy's first International goal was one of the best, a delightful flick behind him and into Manuel Neuer's near post. Dier's will be one that lives long in the memory though, powering home a header to win the game for his nation.

Despite the game only being a friendly, both managers played a series of players expected to start at the upcoming Euros making the victory more than just a morale booster for Roy Hodgson's England side.

But it was Dele Alli who stared for England. The 19 year-old was man-of-the-match in an outstanding performance that may have secured his place in the starting XI for England this summer.

Four Spurs players started in Roy's England team, seeing a slight change in the manager's selection process - going from conservative, highly capped players to a vibrant, young side full of excitement and talent on a national and international scale.

With England losing just one of their last 18 Internationals, there is more pressure on Hodgson to select a team of in-form, young players rather than the experienced, out of form teams he has selected in the past.

With a surprising victory last night, surely England have to play without fear in a tournament no one expects them to succeed in.
